Testimonials
Here are a few of the letters
and emails I've received from customers. Thank
you all that have sent feedback, it is greatly
appreciated! Dan
Dear Dan
About 5
or so years ago, I purchased one of your stoves for
alternative heating of my house. From day one I have
never turned on my furnace or used any other heat
source except your. I have burned Cobbed Corn,
Shelled Corn, Wood Pellets and Firewood as fuel.
Back in spring (due to the economy) I was forced to
sell my house and move to the south. As I was
showing my house to the new owner his eyes became
glued to your stove. After a half hour of
explaining how much I loved it, I realized that I
may have shot myself in the foot. It turns out that
part of the deal in selling the house was to "LEAVE
THE STOVE". I wanted to take it with me
(hoping to return to the north someday) My whole
purpose of writing you today was to let you know
that leaving that stove behind was like losing a
dog. Sure, there are many dogs out there but this
one was mine. Nothing that I ever used to heat my
house ever worked like your stove. As a
Military Veteran, they should make a medal for Ideas
and Craftsmanship you are gifted with.
Thank again
for all the Warmth

Hello Dan O'Reilly
Just wanted to let you know
that our 28-32 stove is up and running. My
complements on your design, the stoves heat
exchangers capture a tremendous amount of heat
rather than blowing it out the stack. Our
building is 10k X 20 ft ceiling brick and mortar.
I think this has the ability to keep temperature in
comfortable range, we are burning mostly pallet
wood.
Again great design at a very
affordable cost
Best regards,
John

[Note from Dan: John
brings up a good point, in that you can burn pallet
wood, along with: regular chopped wood, wood
chips, shelled corn, corn cobs, pellets, olive and
cherry pits and much more. Thanks John!

Dear Dan
My name is Tom Martin and I
have been writing to you yearly to express my
extreme happiness for the purchase of your wood
stove. When the year is over, I will have used
this stove 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for3
years. I have a formula of 1 parts wood pellets to 3
parts shelled corn mix, and it works excellent!
Burning wood pellets alone from past experiences
causes a pre combustion in the bed of the stove
(small detonation). The wood pellets do help a
lot though in keeping most of the burnt corn from
clunking.
Thanks again, and Merry
Christmas
Sincerely, Tom Martin
[Note from Dan: 'Thanks
for the feedback, Tom! That mix sounds like
the winning ticket-thanks for sharing that with our
customers; current and future.']
Hi Dan
Love the 20-28 Firestove we
got from you, but we broke the glass already, much
to our dismay. What is the cost of replacement
piece of glass including shipping? We will be
more careful loading the stove in the future!!
Thanks,
Faith and Bill Zeglen
[Note from Dan: The
Zeglen's are referring to the
cabin stove.]
